[Men's Basketball] Former Warrior Signs in Spain

ROCHESTER HILLS, Mich.— Former Warrior Drew Maynard continues continues his professional basketball career after signing a new contract in early September with Oviedo Basket in Oviedo, Spain.

Maynard played his final year of eligibility at Rochester College during the 2012-2013 season, a 30-3 season that concluded with multiple banners and the programs first ever appearance in the NAIA National Tournament along with a personal spot on the NAIA All American list.

Since Maynards final year of eligibility, Drew has signed professional contracts in Greece, Germany, Denmark, and Brazil. Last year Drew enjoyed an All-Star year in the top professional league of Brazil after averaging 14.7 ppg and 7.7 rpg.
