Don’t miss a thing from the final day of games for Week 1 of preseason football.

We’re underway in Indianapolis with the Colts hosting the Lions. Here are all of the highlights.

Lions 17, Colts 3: We’re getting a look at Lions rookie quarterback Brady Kaaya. Fun fact: His mom is the “Bye Felicia” lady from Friday. This hasn’t been the most thrilling quarter so far, and that’s the most interesting thing we can come up with about this game right now.

Halftime - Lions 17, Colts 3: Rudock got the Lions within striking distance, thanks in part to to this catch and stiff arm from tight end Michael Roberts. A missed Prater field goal kept the Lions from extending their lead.

Lions 17, Colts 3: The Colts defense has given up 211 yards and yet another score with a Matt Prater field goal.

Lions 14, Colts 3: The Indianapolis defense looks outmatched. Detroit capped off a seven-play, 73-yard drive with another Rudock touchdown pass to Golladay.

Lions 7, Colts 0: The Lions are on the board after a 23-yard Jake Rudock pass to Kenny Golladay.

Lions 0, Colts 0: Detroit defensive end Kerry Hyder went down with an injury and had to be carted off the field.

Lions 0, Colts 0: Indianapolis made things interesting right off the bat as linebacker John Simon intercepted Matthew Stafford on the Lions’ first possession.

Week 1 of the 2017 NFL preseason is coming to a close, with a Sunday lineup that includes just two games to round out the week. It isn’t likely that we get a chance to see a lot of the starters out there, but there’s a better shot in Week 1 than in Week 4 of the preseason.

The first matchup of the day kicks off in the Midwest, with the Colts hosting the Lions. Indianapolis is still without quarterback Andrew Luck, and made so many changes to the defensive roster, it’ll take a few games before any sort of success can be measured. Detroit still hasn’t secured a long-term deal with QB Matthew Stafford, but the offense as a whole should be in a better spot if Stafford and running back Ameer Abdullah can both stay healthy.

Later on the West Coast, the Seahawks visit LA to take on the Chargers. Seattle returns several injured players from the end of the 2016 season, including Earl Thomas. At running back, Eddie Lacy will make his Seahawks debut.

The Chargers, on the other hand, are breaking in a new city and a new head coach, Anthony Lynn. They’ll also have a new defensive coordinator — Gus Bradley, who spent four seasons as the Seahawks’ DC. A revamped offensive line will get a chance to work together and while Philip Rivers likely won’t play much, the backup quarterback competition could pick up between Kellen Clemens and Cardale Jones.

Follow along with us for score updates, highlights, injury news, and much more.

Pregame reading

Fights during training camp are expected, and both the Seahawks and Colts have fights ranked among the best so far this year.
