UFC Fight Night 114: How to watch Pettis vs. Moreno online
We have all you need to know to watch UFC Fight Night 114 on Saturday, both on television and online.
The UFC returns to Mexico City with a free fight card that will be broadcast on Fox Sports 1 on Saturday. UFC Fight Night 114: Pettis vs. Moreno will see flyweights Sergio Pettis and Brandon Moreno battle in what isn’t strictly a title eliminator, but they are both top 10 fighters in the division.
Saturday’s card begins at 7 p.m. ET with the UFC Fight Pass prelims, which are streamed online. The preliminary fights continue at 8 p.m. on FS1 and the main card gets underway at 10 p.m., also on FS1. Live streaming of the whole card can be found via the UFC app on various devices, UFC.TV, Fox Sports GO and more.
Pettis is trying to put himself in the flyweight title picture after rattling off three consecutive wins at the weight class. He’s had some losses in the UFC, and has been overshadowed by his older brother, Anthony Pettis, but quality wins over John Moraga and Chris Cariaso make Sergio a contender.
He’ll be taking on Moreno, who hasn’t lost since July 2012, when he started his career with a 3-3 record. He’s now 14-3, with three wins in three UFC fights.
Rashad Evans, the former light heavyweight champion, will be on the card as he tries to make his move to middleweight stick. He is set to face Sam Alvey in his second middleweight matchup after losing the first in a split decision to Daniel Kelly. Evans has lost three consecutive fights and badly needs a win.
Alexa Grasso and Randa Markos will be fighting in the women’s strawweight division in the co-feature on the night. Grasso came in three pounds over the weight limit and will be fined 20 percent of her purse, but the fight will still proceed as planned.
Saturday’s main card opens with a bantamweight contest between Alejandro Pérez and Andre Soukhamthath.
