House V. NCAA

Has everyone seen what’s being reported as the settlement deal? It seems like the big boys are going to have to put $20m per year up as athletic player compensation. The details are sketchy at best as to how this would be divided between sports especially with Title ix out there. If it goes ahead Vandy will have to go along with the big fish or risk being relegated to the second tier.
Incidentally I don’t know how a university can directly pay a player and not have them deemed an employee...
