[Women's Basketball] LSU Rallies to Overtake UCM
La Sierra's Sydney Wallner led a furious comeback over the final 56 seconds to lift the Golden Eagles to a 72-71 California Pacific Conference win over host UC Merced on Saturday. Wallner totaled eight points and two assists as LSU erased a 13-point deficit in less than a minute. The Golden Eagles (4-4 in conference and 4-11 overall) trailed for most of the contest but constructed a frantic 18-4 run in the game's final minute to overcome a 67-54 deficit and steal a victory from the Bobcats (5-9, 5-4).
