With Thursday's victory, Siena (9-5 overall, 3-1 MAAC) moved into a tie for first place with Fairfield (7-6, 3-1) and Iona, which played later Thursday.
The Saints also snapped Fairfield's 18-game league winning streak, including tournament games, dating to last season. The Stags hadn't lost a MAAC game since a 69-56 setback at Siena last Jan. 22.
