[Softball] Softball Weekly Awards to Popko and Hanes
The Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) named Katie Popko of Madonna and Carlie Hanes of UNOH as its softball weekly award winners. Popko picked up Player of the Week as she hit .667 with 14 RBI and two home runs. Hanes earned Pitcher of the Week with six complete games in six days for a 6-0 record while striking out 34 in 40 innings of work.
