[Volleyball] LSU First Qualifier for Volleyball Championships
La Sierra opened the week with back-to-back tough losses, but the Golden Eagles closed out the week with a 3-0 sweep of Marymount California to clinch the first berth in the California Pacific Conference Volleyball Championship tournament that begins Nov. 11. LSU lost in three sets to Saint Katherine, one of the teams looking at securing a postseason qualification, and then battled another playoff contender, Westcliff, through five close sets.
