Hudson Falls' Jonathan Beagle commits to UAlbany basketball

Beagle, a 6-foot-9, 230-pound forward, is spending his postgraduate year at St. Thomas More, a prep school in Oakdale, Conn. He also played there last season after transferring to face better competition.
Beagle is a significant local recruit for new Great Danes head coach Dwayne Killings and his staff. Beagle said he chose the Great Danes over offers from Pittsburgh, UMass and Vermont, the last of which is UAlbany’s chief America East rival.
