Siena men's basketball to open next season at St. Bonaventure

The Saints and Bonnies are continuing their Franciscan Cup rivalry, which was interrupted last season by the coronavirus pandemic. They've signed a two-year extension and the Bonnies will return the game at Times Union Center in the 2022-23 season, Saints spokesman Mike Demos said.
They play for the Br. Ed Coughlin Cup, named for the former Siena president and St. Bonaventure graduate who died in 2019 at 71 years old following complications from non-emergency heart surgery.
