[Golf] ERAU Tops Men's and Women's Team Leaderboard After Day 1

At the close of the first round of the California Pacific Conference Golf Championships at Antelope Hills North Golf Course in Prescott, Ariz., Embry-Riddle's men's and women's teams found themselves at the top of the Team Leaderboard.  The ERAU women, ranked No. 9 in the latest NAIA Coaches' Top 25 Poll, hold a 40-stroke lead over Simpson, 307-347.   Sierra Nevada closed out the first day at 417.  ERAU's Haily Stevenson turned in a stellar first round, carding a two-under 70, eight strokes better than the next lowest score.
