BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – No. 1 seed Shawnee State (Ohio) defeated eighth-seeded Cumberland (Tenn.) 90-75 in the MSC Men's Basketball Tournament Quarterfinals.

Following the conclusion of the game, Shawnee State's (24-2) Amier Gilmore was named the H+W Sports Player of the Game. Gilmore recorded a double-double with 12 points and a game-high 12 rebounds.
