KANSAS CITY, Mo. - (NAIA Release) - Cornerstone senior Kelli Smith was named the NAIA National Women's Indoor Track Athlete of the Week on Jan. 22, 2020. Smith competed at the Bill Clinger Classic hosted by Grand Valley State University (Mich.). Smith ran a time of 9:54 in the 3,000 meters on Jan. 17 to finish fourth individually and eclipse Erin Clason's 20-year-old school record. Smith is now the holder of three Cornerstone records as she also holds the record in the outdoor 5K and 10K.
