State’s Markell Johnson Pulls Out Of The NBA Draft

A major break for Kevin Keatts and the Wolfpack

Good news for NC State as point guard guard Markell Johnson has decided to pull out of the NBA draft.

He’s a solid guard at a minimum and having a senior point guard is an advantage that lots of teams don’t have.

It’s hard to believe in retrospect that he was signed as insurance/backup for Dennis Smith because he’s done a lot more for State than Smith ever did.
