Victorian opposition considers making inter-school sports competitions mandatory

The Victorian opposition is weighing up plans to make inter-school sports competition compulsory in schools across the state. The Herald Sun reports the initiative would be trialled for year seven students across three regions in 2020. Pupils from dozens of schools will compete in a variety of sports including football, netball and basketball.
