[Basketball] UCM Women Ranked No. 24; BenU Men Receive Votes in NAIA Polls
By virtue of its incredible run at the close of the 2016-17 season, the UC Merced women's basketball team begins the 2017-18 campaign at No. 24 in the NAIA Division II Women's Basketball Coaches' Preseason Top 25 Poll. Additionally, last season's men's co-champion, Benedictine-Mesa, received votes in the national preseason survey.
