Morning Briefing: AL and NL Rookie of the Year Announced
Good morning, Mets fans!
MLB announced the winners for AL and NL Rookie of the Year on Monday.
In the American League, Nick Kurtz won in a unanimous vote, with Jacob Wilson coming in second with 23 second-place votes and Roman Anthony third with the remaining seven second-place votes.
In the National League, Drake Baldwin won the award with 21 first-place votes, the first catcher to do so since 2010. Cade Horton finished second with nine first-place votes, and Caleb Durbin finished third with two second-place votes.
