Bazzana hammers two doubles, Manzardo powers Clippers to win with HR

Kyle Manzardo went 3-5 with a monster 404 foot HR with an exit velocity of 105 in the 9th inning. Juan Brito went 1-3 with two walks. George Valera had a pinch hit single in the 9th with an exit velocity of 106.2 mph. Johnathan Rodriguez went 2-4 with a walk. Raynel Delgado went 2-3 with an RBI.
Ryan Webb continued his dominance of AAA with another great outing. He allowed just one run on four hits with five strikeouts and two walks to lower his AAA ERA to 1.29. Could we potentially see him in Cleveland this season? While unlikely, I don’t think it’s impossible considering they have to add him to the 40 man roster this offseason. Andrew Walters and Franco Aleman both looked good in their scoreless outings.
Cooper Ingle continues to show why he should be considered at least a top 15 prospect in the organization. He went 2-4 with a walk, raising his AA batting average to .311 with a .915 OPS. Jorge Burgos went 2-4 with a HR, Joe Lampe went 2-3, and Milan Tolentino went 1-3 with a walk.
Another solid outing for Parker Messick, he allowed just one earned run in 4.2 innings pitched, striking out five and walking four.
Travis Bazzana went 2-4 with two doubles hit at exit velocities 106 and 102 mph. He’s really starting to get comfortable and could be promoted to Akron in the next couple weeks. Alex Mooney went 2-4 with an RBI. Wuilfredo Antunez went 2-4 and raised his average to .424 with a 1.138 OPS in High-A. He intrigues me.
Yorman Gomez had another solid outing, allowing just two earned runs in 5.2 innings pitched, with five strikeouts and two walks. His High-A ERA is at 3.06.
It was a really rough day for the Hillcats offense, as Tommy Hawke, Welbyn Francisca, Luis Merejo, and Christian Knapczyk combined to go 0-15.
The Guardians 2024 4th round pick Rafe Schlesinger made his organizational debut tonight, he gave up just one hit in two scoreless innings with two strikeouts.
