[Women's Basketball] SXU Women's Basketball Defeats Trinity Christian, 88-56

Palos Heights, Ill. – Senior forward Claire Austin (Chicago, Ill./Davenport/Marist) recorded her fifth double-double of the season, finishing with a game-high 19 points and a game-best 10 rebounds to lead Saint Xavier University women's basketball (7-4, 5-1 CCAC) to an 88-56 Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) victory over Trinity Christian College (Ill.) Wednesday evening at DeVos Gymnasium in Palos Heights, Ill. Austin also blocked three shots, had three steals and two assists. She was an efficient 6-for-7 from the field and went 7-for-8 from the free throw line. The Cougars pulled down 51 rebounds in the win, the second time this season that they have had 50 or more rebounds in a game.
