[eSports] Overwatch Team wins Divisional Championship for SXU Esports

CHICAGO – In their first season of competition, the Saint Xavier University Esports Overwatch team defeated No. 1 Lubbock Christian University (Texas), 3-1, to take home the NACE West Central Conference Divisional Championship Tuesday evening at the Shannon Center in Chicago, Ill. The Cougars won game one by a score of 2-0 and took game two 3-2 in the best-of-five matchup. LCU avoided the sweep with a 3-2 win in game three, however SXU won game four 1-0 to win the programs first title. Saint Xavier earned a bye out of the quarterfinals after finishing 6-1 during the regular season and earning the No. 2 seed.
