O’s Shutout Despite Kremer’s Quality

The Seattle Mariners shout out the Baltimore Orioles 2-0 on Tuesday. The Orioles were held to one hit, a 4th inning single by Ryan Mountcastle (1 for 4, 1 SB). Four other players reached base for Baltimore, three via a walk (Anthony Santander, Adley Rutschman and Tyler Nevin) and one via a hit by pitch (Robinson Chirinos).

Dean Kremer had one of his best starts, allowing four hits, walking two and striking out five with one wild pitch thrown over 7.0 innings.

Cionel Perez (4-1) was the pitcher of record. He allowed 1 run on 1 hit with 2 strikeouts over 0.2 innings.
