Doane Track and Field pulled in a pair of Top 10 rankings on the USTFCCCA Ratings Index released on Wednesday afternoon. The Tiger men were ranked No. 4 while the women were No. 6 in the computer rating that is based on current national individual event standings.

Indiana Tech held down the top spot in the first rankings with 250.47 points, followed by Dordt (Iowa) and Grand View (Iowa). The Tigers have seven Top 10 national marks this season and three in the Top 4. Sergio Arcos (SR/Columbus, Neb.) is currently third in the heptathlon and Matthew Campbell (SR/Ainsworth, Neb.) sits third in the weight throw. Arcos is also fourth in the high jump.

For the women, 21 athlete rankings earned points to give the team 143 points. Indiana Tech is in the No. 1 spot by a landslide with 500.42 points. Concordia (Neb.) sits second with William Carey (Miss.) holding down the third spot. Allison Skala (SR/North Platte, Neb.) has the top mark in the NAIA this season in the shot put while Lindsay Adams (FR/Omaha, Neb.) holds down the top mark in the pentathlon. The Tigers have seven Top 10 performers this year and four inside the Top 3. Joining Skala and Adams are Alivia Baucom (FR/Rock Port, Mo.) sitting third in the shot put and Nicole Harms (SO/Sterling, Neb.) in third for the heptathlon.

Doane and Dordt were the only conference teams to have both men's and women's programs in the Top 10 of their respective polls.

The Tiger athletes return to action this weekend as they host the Fred Beile Classic. The multi-events will begin on Friday at 4 PM with action continuing on Saturday. A video stream of the running events on Saturday afternoon will be available beginning at 1 PM at https://www.youtube.com/c/DSN2-live and live results will be available at http://stats.doane.edu/track/
