Joliet, Ill. – Junior designated hitter Drew Hunniford (Frankfort, Ill./Providence Catholic) belted a two-run home run in the bottom of the 1st inning to put SXU up 2-0, but No. 6 seed Saint Xavier University baseball (32-25, 17-13 CCAC) couldn't hold on to the lead and lost to No. 1 Olivet Nazarene University (Ill.), 8-6, in the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) Tournament Championship at DuPage Medical Group Field in Joliet, Ill. Wednesday evening. Senior pitcher Tim Brokop (Bourbonnais, Ill./Bradley-Bourbonnais) made the start and took a no decision, pitching 3.1 innings with nine hits, six runs (five earned), two walks, two hit batsmen and three strikeouts.
