Mets’ Game Against Astros Moved to 1:00 PM on Saturday
The Mets’ matchup against the Astros in West Palm Beach on Saturday that was originally scheduled for 6:30 p.m. has been moved up to 1:00 p.m., per Tim Healey of Newsday.
The move comes due to inclement weather later in the day. As has been common this spring, it will be a seven-inning game.
Mets ace Jacob deGrom is scheduled to make his 2021 Grapefruit League debut in this game. He will be matched up against fellow veteran right-hander Zack Greinke, per Chandler Rome of the Houston Chronicle.
The Mets are 2-2 on the young spring, while the Astros sit at 2-3.
