[Football] Tigers' miscues aid LWC in 35-14 win

Georgetown College football did something no one else has been able to do this spring against Lindsey Wilson College. In the NAIA Game of the Week, the Tigers (2-1) responded to the Blue Raiders (3-0) opening drive score – the first team to score any points in the first two quarters.

LWC scored on the ensuing drive for a lead that seemed to settle into a defensive battle, until one of Georgetown's miscues took the game on another route. The home team eventually fell 35-14.

The play that seemed to turn the tide was a high snap over the punter's head deep in GC territory. The scramble was on and LWC scooped it up for the score. The game was a two-touchdown affair and it never got closer.
