[Women's Volleyball] Warriors Win First Of Back-to-Back Matches Against William Jessup

ROCKLIN, Calif. –  Fresh off of a 3-1 victory at Hope International, the Warriors' road trip to William Jessup started out with a win in the 1st of two consecutive matches against WJU. After trading sets in the 1st two sets, LPU dominated the 3rd set 25-16 but William Jessup answered back with a win in the 4th. In the final set, LPU jumped ahead 4-0 in the race to 15 but WJU roared back with a 5-0 run to take the lead 5-4. The two teams fought tirelessly down the stretch but Life Pacific made the plays necessary to steal the match from the home team. LPU will have a chance to leave with a sweep as they face William Jessup again tomorrow at 1 pm.
