It is hard to hate a team so non-threatening as the Mariners, but then someone gets mad because Wade LeBlanc takes a no-hitter into the seventh. I like that.
My Grandmother Liked Them

You may say they are hard to love because they are blowing up their world-series winning core to save some money. I say my Grandmother lived her whole life in northern Indiana, and she was a gem.
I Can Attend Their Games

- Detroit Tigers
I live in southern Ontario, so Toronto and Detroit are the closest MLB parks. Sometimes you should cheer for the home team and sometimes you should laugh your head off when Nelson Cruz puts up 7 RBI and make everyone mad at you.

When I was seven my favorite player was Jose Canseco, so the A's are fine I guess.
