World Series Game Three Starting Lineup
The Rays look to gain an early series advantage
Tonight is game three of the 2020 World Series and the two teams, the Tampa Bay Rays and the Los Angeles Dodgers, have split the first matchups of the Fall Classic.
Going to the mound tonight for Tampa Bay will be one of the heroes of the American League Championship Series, Charlie Morton, who absolutely dominated during the game seven matchup against the Houston Astros. He’ll be opposed by the other ace of the Dodgers staff, right-handed pitcher, Walker Buehler.
Buehler made eight starts for Los Angeles this season and finished the year with a 3.44 ERA / 4.36 FIP with a 28.6 K% and 7.5 BB% over 36 2⁄3 innings pitched; opponents mustered just a .178 batting average against him this season.
The Rays are rolling out a starting lineup that is left-handed heavy with five left-handed bats and four right-handed ones mixed throughout.
