Before yesterday’s game, things looked pretty bleak for the Mets. They got beat 15-2. How are they going to get their momentum back for the final push of games to back themselves into the playoffs?

Well just about everything in baseball across the land broke right for the Mets and now they are 1.5 games out of the playoffs, again. The Mets still need to pretty much win out the rest of the year to secure a spot but 1.5 games out – a lot of opportunities open up.

He had back-to-back starts to open the season against the Braves. The first one was terrible – allowing seven runs, six earned in two innings. His next start was good, only by comparing it to his first start, where he allowed four runs, three earned over four innings.
