Morning Briefing: Mets Keep Fighting

0 2

Good Morning, Mets fans!

Yesterday showed a great comeback from the Mets with a ninth-inning rally giving the team a 10-6 win against the Phillies. The Mets had a great win over the Phillies yesterday, coming from behind to win 10-6.

Today the Mets come home with Steven Matz (0-4, 8.63 ERA) to have his first start in awhile against the Braves LHP Max Fried (6-0, 1.98 ERA).

Hopefully, Matz falls into his previous starting role more smoothly than he did earlier this season, with the Long Island native struggling greatly this season.

The game is set to begin at 7:10 PM EST, will be televised on SNY and can be heard on WCBS 880 AM.
