[Men's Basketball] TIGERS EXTEND CONFERENCE WIN STREAK AGAINST ROOSEVELT

Chicago, Ill. –  ONU Men's Basketball capitalized on a strong outing as they went on to defeat CCAC opponent Roosevelt University.  Roosevelt's only lead in the game came off of a three-point shot by Tariq Archibald in the opening minutes. ONU's Luke Tuttle (SR/Hampshire, Ill.) responded with a three of his own to regain the lead at eight-to-seven. The game began to open up as Dane Schlafley (SR/Peoria, Ill.) recorded three steals in a span of just over two minutes. Each resulted in a score on its ensuing possession. CJ Smith (JR/Cumming, Ga.) capped off this run with a three-pointer to make the score 15-seven in favor of the Tigers. The Tigers would lead by 17 going into the half and would cruise through the second.  With about two minutes left to play, Gavin Griggs (JR/Middletown, Ind.) dunked to give the Tigers their largest lead of the game at 28 points. The final score was 89-65.
