Jose Siri also gets back into the offensive game.

Brandon Larson Honorary Star Of The Night

Packy Naughton - 6 IP, 3 H, 0 ER, 1 BB, 9 K

The former 9th Round pick out of Virginia Tech has really been proving a bargain so far in his young career. He’s shown so far an ability to limit the walks while inducing limited contact, homers, and striking out a good amount of batters. This his his first crack at A+ and he’s doing spectacularly well with only five earned runs allowed in 23.2 innings.

The Louisville Bats had the night off. They’ll pick up the action at 7:10 PM ET against the Durham Bulls.

Chattanooga Lookouts 6, Tennessee Smokies 7 (F/7)

The Lookouts ended up playing a double header to make up for a lost game on April 20th. Rob Wooten “Hears A Who” was bad. He allowed five earned runs over four innings on seven hits, no walks, while striking out one. Victor “Cash Money” Payano pitched a scoreless inning out of the pen. Jose Siri put together a good one. He went 2 or 4 with a dinger, double, four RBI, and two runs scored.

Chattanooga Lookouts 4, Tennesse Smokies 2

In the make up game, the Lookouts had much better luck. Johendi “Jabroni” Jiminian gave up only two earned over four innings on four hits, two walks, while striking out one. Ryan “Jimi” Hendrix struck out one in two scoreless and Alex “Light Tower” Powers struck out one in a scoreless appearance to pick up his second save. Brantley “Ding Dong” Bell dingered, doubled, walked, and knocked in two with two runs scored. The rest of the offense was relatively quiet.

Tejay Antone pitches at 7:00 PM ET.

Daytona Tortugas 5, Dunedin Blue Jays 0

Packy “Wacky” Naughton is unfurling his wackiest stuff this fine season. He pitched six innings of lock down, shutout ball on three hits, no walks, while striking out nine. Aneurys “Silent Killer” Zabala struck out three in two scoreless innings out of the pen, and Ryan “Bolt On” Nutof struck out in two in his scoreless inning. Randy “Ace” Ventura went 2 for 4 with two runs scored, Alejo “Hello” Lopez went 3 for 4 with a double, 2 RBI, and a run scored, and Jonathan “Bollywood” India went 2 for 4 with a RBI.

Daytona will play the Blue Jays in the pre-noon hour of 10:35 AM.

Dayton Dragons 4, Lake County Captains 5

Reniel Ozuna knocked a solo dinger, and Mariel “Mario” Bautista went 2 for 5 with a solo homer and 2 RBI total. Jonathan “Willy” Willems went 2 for 4 with a double and a run scored, and Pabel “Pepper” Manzanero went 2 for 4 with a RBI.
