[Swimming] Warriors Fall to Iowa Central CC

FORT DODGE, Iowa – Midland University took to the pool for the second time this season as they traveled to nearby Fort Dodge, Iowa for a dual with Iowa Central Community College. The Warriors fell in both the men's and women's overall scores but continue to show improvement across the board. 

"We had a lot of learning experiences this meet," head coach Ryan Bubb stated. With the 'long event' format, the Warriors experienced first-hand the toughness and grit that is required for collegiate swimming. Unlike high school, collegiate swimming offers the 200's of each stroke as well as the 400 IM, 1650 and longer relays. "Our focus every year is on day three of the conference and national championships. This meet afforded the team the chance to experience how tough that day is and what it will take in training to be successful at the conference or national championship meet."
