[Football] McShane leads No. 14 SXU past Trinity International, 37-28

CHICAGO – Junior running back Vance McShane (Freeport, Ill./Western Illinois/Freeport) ran for 182 yards on 21 carries and score a pair of touchdowns, including a 65-yarder, to help give No. 14 Saint Xavier University football (2-1, 1-0 MSFA) a 37-28 victory over Trinity International University (Ill.) Sunday afternoon at Deaton Field in Chicago. The Cougars defense came away with five interceptions, two by sophomore linebacker Peyton Nigro (Mokena, Ill./Concordia-St. Paul/Lincoln-Way Central).
