Women’s Student-Athlete of the Week: Carlee Salyers
We award the Woman Student-Athlete of the Week honor to Wise (VA) cross country sophomore Carlee Salyers.
In the opening meet of the season, the Run with the Wolves Invitational at Richmond (IN), with a total of 33 runners from six different schools, Salyers paced the team in the 5k (3.1 miles) as she broke the tape at the finish line in 22:01. Her finish was good enough for 9th place overall and helped the squad finish as runner-up in the meet
