2016/17 season update
- Registration night – 30th August 7:30pm at St. John’s Church, Victoria Road, Horwich.
- The season starts on the 5th September 2016.
- Rule 35 has been changed to allow players to be eligible to play in matches from the day after registration.
- Rule 37 has also been changed allowing teams to have one starred man and one starred lady and two nominated men and two nominated ladies.
- Roe Green have changed their venue back to Walkden Congregational Church Hall, Harriet St. (off Manchester Rd.), Walkden, M28 3DR. Match Night: Tuesday, 2 couples, 7:15pm start.
- Hawkshaw have also moved back to their old venue at Radcliffe Leisure Centre, Spring Lane, Radcliffe, Manchester, M26 2SZ. Match night: Tuesday – A, B & C team matches, 2 couples, 8:00pm prompt start.
- Moorside have introduced an additional team into D Section.
- Bolton Lads & Girls have unfortunately had to drop out of the League.
- Markland Hill E have withdrawn from Section C.
- Badminton England fees have gone up to £16.00 for Seniors, but the Junior fees stay at £5.00.
- L.C.B.A. fees have also gone up to £3.25 per player.
