Badminton referee from Bangladesh found dead in Assam hotel

Mohammed Nazib Ismail, a 52-year-old Bangladeshi badminton referee, was found dead in his Guwahati hotel room on Saturday. Ismail, an accredited umpire with the Badminton World Federation, was officiating at a tournament. Police suspect a heart attack or stroke, pending autopsy results. His body will be repatriated to his family at the India-Bangladesh border.
