Badminton at Birmingham 2022

Michelle Li won the silver medal at Commonwealth Games 2022, held in Birmingham, England.

Pan Am Players from Barbados, Canada, Falkland Island, Guyana and Jamaica also competed at this event, showing a great performance in each match.

Canadian star Michelle Li took the podium of the Commonwealth Games with a silver medal. During her journey, Li defeated players from England, Singapore, Northern Ireland and Scotland to reach the final where she faced Pusarla Sindhu, runner-up in the last edition.

Rachel Honderich and Kristen Tsai (CAN) and Tahlia Richardson and Katherine Wynter (JAM) reached Quarter-Finals in Women’s Doubles, while Tamisha Williams (BAR), Nyl Yakura / Dong Adam (CAN) and Joel Angus/Samuel Ricketts (JAM) reached Round of 16 in their events.
