Pan Am M&F Cup 2022 Is Coming!!!

Pan Am Teams from Brazil, Canada, Guatemala, Mexico, Peru and United States will compete at the next Pan Am Male & Female Cup 2022, team event that will take place in Acapulco, Mexico, from February 17 to 20.

After the entries closing date, BPAC can confirm that Six teams will compete in both the Men’s and Women’s events in pursuit of the Pan Am Cup 2022.

Teams from Canada will defend the crown they won at the Pan Am Cup 2020 in Brazil. For Male Event, Nyl Yakura and Joshua Hurlburt-Yu will lead the team while the Female event will have the presence of the olympian Josephine Wu and some outstanding young players like Catherine Choi, Talia Ng, Wendy Zhang, among others.

Brazilian team will present Pan Am Games medalist like Jaqueline Lima and Samia Lima for the Female competition and improve the location they got in the previous edition (3rd place), and Farias brothers and olympian Ygor Coelho to reach the Male event cup.

Olympians Lino Muñoz and Haramara Gaitan will lead the Mexican team along with experienced players like Sabrina Solis, Job Castillo, Andres Lopez, Luis Montoya, among others. On 2020, Mexico Male Team reached the silver medal and will fight for the crown this time.

Kevin Cordon and Nikte Sotomayor, olympians in Tokyo 2020, will seek to win everything leading their respective teams.

USA teams will present a young team for Female event with Jennie Gai and Natalie Chi, while the Male team will be lead by Howard Shu. The Female team reached silver medal in last edition and will fight to reach the cup.

Teams from Peru will try to surprise in both events leading by Jose Guevara and Diego Mini for the Male event and Ines Castillo and Fernanda Saponara for the Female Event.
