Rest in Peace, Gokarn Ramdhani

Badminton Pan Am inform with deep regret that the President of the Guyana Badminton Association, Mr. Gokarn Ramdhani, passed away last Friday.

Gokarn, who was also a member of the Badminton Pan Am Board, is the pioneer of badminton in his country, and served as a coach and delegate, participating in major international events such as the recent Lima 2019 Pan American Games.

From here we send our sincere condolences to his wife Emily and children Narayan and Priyanna, important exponents of badminton in our region. Have the support of the entire Pan American badminton family and may his soul rest in peace.

He is a huge loss to our community, and we know that he wanted our sport to continue to grow and we will continue to do so.
