Traditional Irish Horse Majas Hope (a 2007 gelding by Porter Rhodes (TB) out of a Flagmount King (ID) mare, bred by Jack Murphy in Co. Kilkenny) finished in fifth place in the first five-star Event to take place in the UK since 2019, with Great Britain’s Pippa Funnell. In third place was Great Britain’s Piggy March with another Irish-bred, this time the Camiro De Haar Z mare Vanir Kamira (Badminton 2019 winners), behind Gemma Tattersall with Chilli Knight in first place, and Pippa Funnell with Billy Walk On in second place.
