Canada Will Host Pan American Cup 2021

Continuing with the organization of high level competitions, the contribution that each host association can give to our events and the success of our athletes, The Executive Committee of Badminton Pan Am Confederation, after analyzing the proposals, decided Canada as the host of our next Pan American Cup 2021.

Fort McMurray, Alberta, is the city that will receive all the participating teams of our next Continental Mixed Team Event, that will take place from February 16 to 19, 2021.

Canada Badminton Federation presented a consistent organizational plan that includes venue facilities (MacDonald Island Park, the Suncor Community Leisure Centre ), the sport program (Technical Officials and Volunteers), athletes services, accommodation options, transportation and food services contacts, telecommunications, technology, and more. Also, the experience in organizing tournaments will guarantee a good level tournament for all our competitors.

The dates of our Pan American Cup 2021 are one week after the Canadian International Challenge 2021, Pan Am Circuit and Olympic Games qualifier tournament, so it is a good opportunity for our players to participate in both events and continue fighting for their dreams.
