Celebrating the life of George Fraser
It is with much sadness that I write of the passing of George Fraser on the 22nd September 2019.
George, along with his wife Sue, dedicated so much time to junior badminton, particularly in Mid Sussex, including organising the highly popular Mid Sussex Junior Badminton Tournament and leading the successful Newick Junior Badminton Club and the Mid Sussex district team. George was an inspiration and source of encouragement to so many players through his outstanding level of coaching.
The funeral will be held on the 11th October 2019 at Woodvale Crematorium at 2.30pm followed by a celebration of George’s life at the Birch Hotel, Haywards Heath at 4pm.
His contribution to badminton will be remembered with great fondness.
