Agreement Renewal with Special Olympics Latin America
In the Framework of the XVIII Pan Am Games 2019, Badminton Pan America Confederation and Special Olympics Latin AmericaThey renewed their ties of cooperation through a Symbolic Ceremony held BPAC offices in Lima, Peru.
Mr Vishu Tolan, BPAC president, Mrs Claudia Echeverry, President of Special Olympics Latin America., signed the Agreement Renewal, in order to strengthen cooperation between both institutions for the benefit of sport.
“I am very happy with the presence of all and the great enthusiasm to renew the agreement. Thank you for your constant support and because we can highlight our athletes and give them greater opportunity. They are the clear example of what Olympism means, practice sports without bad intentions, with dedication and strength. ” declared Mrs. Echeverry.
The ceremony was attended by Mr. Jose Del Busto, BPAC Vice president, Mr, Zarko Cukic, BPAC ExCo Member, Mr. Alvaro Gomez, Sports Development Director of Special Oympics Latin America, Mrs Pamela Daveolouis, Executive Director of Special Olympics Peru, ;Mrs Pilar Carrillo, BPAC Chief Operating Officer, and presidents of Badminton Associations from Cuba, Venezuela and Ecuador.
Badminton Pan Am signed the first agreement with Special Olympics Latin America 3 years ago and carries out this renovation by strengthening the agreement signed this year by the BWF with Special Olympics International. Now we will have more badminton for everyone!
