Canada Victories at Sudirman Cup 2019
Canada won against Singapore and Israel at Sudirman Cup 2019 held in Nanning, China.
Team Canada began its participation at TOTAL BWF Sudirman Cup 2019 with two victories in the Group 2B. Led by Mike Butler and Jennifer Lee, Pan Am Champions won their ties against Singapore by 3-2 and Israel by 5-0.
The firts competition day had a tough tie for Canada against Singapore but victories of Michelle Li in Singles, Rachel Honderich / Kristen Tsai and Jason Ho-Shue / Nyl Yakura (featured image) in Doubles gave them final score of 3-2 and their first victory in this Sudirman Cup.
Israel was also a tough team but Canada was able to overcome them with victories in all 5 modalities.
USA is also competing at Sudirman Cup 2019. The Team had a tough matches against France and Netherlands losing by 1-4 and 0-5 respectively. Now, they will face Vietnam for Group 2A.
