New Champions – Pan Am 2019
The XXIII 2019 Pan American Championship will have the best of the Pan American badminton. Outstanding duos will compete to be the new Champions. Let’s know out more about the players that will compete in Mixed Doubles.
Champions of the last edition, Ty Lindeman and Josephine Wu (CAN) will look for the crown but this time with new pairs. Ty Lindeman and Rachel Honderich want to surprise this year. They already know what it is to win a Pan-American gold and they will seek a new one together. For the other side, Josephine Wu and Joshue Hulburth-Yu will show why they are seeded 1 duo and will seek to win everything. Also, Canadian duo Nyl Yakura and Kirsten Tsai have experience in big tournaments and will improve the silver medal reached last edition, and will seek the crown this year.
Pan Am duo number 1, Matthew Fogarty and Isabel Zhong will seek to reach the podium this year. USA duo compete in BWF Tour and have experience to reach their best results.
Jonathan Solis and Diana Corleto want to climb positions on the podium. Guatemala’s players reached bronze last year and now they will go for the gold.
Locals Andres Lopez and Cinthya Gonzales also got the bronze medal last edtion and will look for a better result, this time playing at home. Gonzales, who suffered a serious injury to the knee last year, is already recovered and hopes to reach her best level of play to represent her country in the best way.
Brazil’s young stars Fabricio Farias and Jaqueline Lima want to surprise this year. The olympian duo will seek to show their best game and win as many matches as they can.
Outstanding Pan Am duos, Artur Pomoceno/Fabiana Silva (BRA), Phillip Chew / Ariel Lee (USA), Nelson Javier / Nairoby Jimenez (DOM) and Howard Shu / Paula Lynn Obanana (USA) are some of the best players that will provide an excellent sports show at the XXIII Pan Am Individual Championships 2019 and will show a preview of what we will experience at the Pan Am Games in Lima 2019.

The XXIII Pan Am Individual Championships 2019 will be played from April 25th to 28th at the Gimnasio Olimpico de Ciudad Deportiva de Aguascalientes, Mexico.
