BA Farewell's Lasse Bundgaard

Badminton Australia announced last week that Lasse's contract as National Coach with Badminton Australia will conclude on Monday 25 June 2018.

Lasse has been National Coach and High Performance Director with Badminton Australia for many years. Lasse originally led Badminton Australia's successful Jump Smash program, an initiative designed to identify future talent and provide them with the training and program to progress to become an international badminton player. Following the implementation of that program Lasse moved into the role of Head Coach, one that he has held for the past 10 years.

Lasse's hard work and dedication to the organisation has guided Australian National level players though many Olympic and Commonwealth Games campaigns. He has also been instrumental in refocussing our National rankings structure along with improving our domestic tournament structure.

The Badminton Australia Board will soon advertise for the position of National Coach, but would like to express its sincere thanks to Lasse for his dedication and commitment to the organisation over the past 12 years.
