China beat Spain to take second group win at Uber Cup
BANGKOK, May 9 (Xinhua) -- China women's badminton team defeated Spain here on Monday to bag the second consecutive victory in the Badminton Uber Cup group stage.
Spain's Olympic champion Carolina Marin was absent for the second match in a row. Her teammate Clara Azurmendi managed to cause some trouble for Chen Yufei, but Chen saved two set points to take the match 21-16 and 23-21 for China.
