The badminton racquet used by Noida district magistrate Suhas LY in the Tokyo Paralympics fetched Rs 50,00,200 at an online auction of the PM mementos on Thursday evening The base price of the racquet was Rs 50 lakh. Suhas LY, who bagged silver, became the first IAS officer to win a medal in the Paralympics this September. After returning from Tokyo, he had presented the racquet he used in the final match to the Prime Minister for the e-auction of mementos. Suhas LY is currently ranked world number 2 as a para-badminton player.
