PV Sindhu, who had won a silver at the 2018 Commonwealth Games, lost 19-21 10-21 to seventh seeded Korean Sung Ji Hyun in the Badminton Asia Championships 2018 quarterfinals, while HS Prannoy progressed to the semi-finals in the men’s segment.
